MDD held a prime contract with Military Sealift Command for Energy Conservation Engineering services which was successfully completed in 2012.  The contract included Program Management, Energy Auditing, Energy Management Planning, Database development and Maintenance and Engineering Services.  MDD developed the tools, processes and expertise for shipboard energy reduction and conducted energy audits and developed energy management plans for every major class of MSC ship. MDD developed and implemented a system monitor fleet fuel consumption and tracked actual fuel consumption against the established baseline.

MDD holds a prime contract with Military Sealift Command for Leadership Training, Organizational Alignment Project Management Training and Project Management Support Services.

MDD holds a prime contract with Military Sealift Command to provide project management, engineering, and administrative support services to assist the Government in managing over two-hundred (200) deliverables required under the Mt. Whitney Assured Power Modifications Contract. Under this contract, MDD is providing Marine and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Naval Architecture and expertise in the following areas:
a) Drawing, Specification and Calculation Reviews
b) Fluid systems analysis
c) Auxiliary systems analysis
d) HV AC system analysis
e) Control and instrumentation systems analysis
f) Machinery arrangements
g) Vibration analysis
h) Fire protection & extinguishing system analysis
i) Power generating systems analysis
j) Power distribution system analysis
k) Automation and control systems (electrical & electronic)
l) Monitoring systems
m) Load & fault current analysis
n) Lighting
o) Structural design and analysis
p) Weight and moment reports and calculation reviews
q) Stability calculations review
r) Intact and damage stability (including inclining experiments and stability operating instructions) analysis
s) Arrangements (hull and deck) review
